Resurrection Lutheran Cooperative Ministry is a warm and welcoming Ministry and a member of the North American Lutheran Church (NALC). ​We’re a friendly bunch of folks, trying to be good Christians and follow Our Lord in our Daily Lives. We’re not Saints, yet! But we worship the One who can help us grow in Faith every day.​

Elderton Lutheran Parish
Parish worship for Elderton Lutheran Parish will continue to be on the 4th Sunday of the month at 9:45 alternating between Christ Lutheran and Mt Union Lutheran.

Cooperative Ministry Announcements

WNALC Fall Retreat at In-Tents Camp

Mission Trip:
October 13-18th to Dayton Ohio – cost $150.  We will be leaving Sunday after church – returning home Friday night.  We will be working on homes affected by the Memorial Day Tornado.  See Pastor Joyce or Pastor Matthew and let them know what skills you possess.  There is work for everyone at all skill levels!  7000 homes were affected.  See Pastor Joyce or Pastor Matthew to sign up!

October Fest in Smicksburg. October 5th – Come join us at the October Fest and while there stop at Salem Lutheran Church for a bite to eat.  They will be opening their kitchen and serving homemade pies, soups, and sandwiches on Saturday, October 5th.  From 10 am to 3 pm, other baked goods will also be available.  Come and join the fellowship and good food.

Reformation Sunday: – We will gather together with 6 area congregations for a Reformation Sunday Celebration at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kittanning for 11:00 worship.  After worship, we will gather together for fellowship with a covered dish luncheon.  We ask that everyone bring something based on the first letter of your last name.

We are in need of a delegate for each congregation to attend the Convocation held on October 12th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sarver, Pa.  All are welcomed to attend this Convocation, that our newly elected Bishop will be attending.  If you are interested please talk with Pastor Joyce or Pastor Matthew.  

RLCM Thanksgiving Dinner: – Mark your calendars! – The RLCM will have a Thanksgiving celebration dinner on November 3rd at 5:00 at the Smith Complex.  There will be sign-up sheets at each of the congregations so that we can prepare for this great feast.  The Turkey and Ham will be provided and we ask that everyone bring something to the meal that correlates with the first letter of your last name.

Ambassadors: – Are you interested in our In-Tents Lutheran Church Camp?  Or maybe your interest is in Bethesda Lutheran Services?  If you are – you may want to be our ambassador for In-Tents or Bethesda.  We need someone that will take the information from these two places and see that our congregation knows the news from them.  If you are interested, please see Pastor Joyce or Pastor Matthew.
